That's too much DEMAND (inflation) chasing too few goods (production or in this case energy). I made a RECENT post about how these are NOT supply chain issues, they are INFLATION creating DEMAND for limited resources. |

That's too much DEMAND (inflation) chasing too few goods (production or in this case energy). Quoting: NikM755 I made a RECENT post about how these are NOT supply chain issues, they are INFLATION creating DEMAND for limited resources. I see it as a supply chain issue. A simple thing like a rise in natural gas prices puts this company out of business if this company goes out of business there’s no meat at the grocery store. It would cause a food shortage in the UK within 14 days of the company going under. There’s plenty of natural gas it’s just that it’s too damn expensive right now for other reasons and that’s going to cause supply chain issues in food. So while there might be ample food the fact that it can’t get to your grocery store is going to cause shortages that people need to think about. Everyt The gas is used to stun animals for slaughter, as well as in packaging to extend the shelf life of fresh, chilled and baked goods, and in the production of carbonated drinks. The British Meat Processors Association warned Friday that the supply shock could cause food shortages within 14 days once current stocks of CO2 gas run out. The UK government said Tuesday that it will provide "limited financial support" for CF Fertilisers' operating costs for three weeks, after which food producers will have to pay more for CO2 to reflect higher global natural gas prices. Everything is F-ed up royally. Maybe it starts as an issue due to inflation but it ends up as a real food shortage. And that’s going to impact all of us. My point in all of this is that we need to be aware that everything is super fragile right now. Stocking up having plenty because it’s either going to get so damn expensive we’re going to be completely unavailable in the near future is wise Last Edited by telling it straight on 09/22/2021 10:05 PM |

One solution to this. Burn down both the corporations and the governments. Or blow them up, as long as they are destroyed. |
