The guy seemed more like he was hoping to get laid rather than anything else. Clearly they didn't know anything special. The biggest reveal was it didn't even seem like they knew if the "math" was on the safe side yet.

Does it show nutcases work at the FDA? Sure, but it didn't help any and people will focus on the wrong aspects of it anyway.
