Overdue

Anonymous Coward User ID: 80891051 United States 09/24/2021 11:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I rarely use my playstation 4 - the past year, I wanted to use it a few times. Quoting: Trolland Dump Every-time some large update is waiting, and most of the times I end up waiting for some update to complete before I can use for example online options, so when all is done, I either don't have time to play anymore, or I can't be bothered. It's a fucking joke. I also noticed that every-time someone cracks a firmware, it doesn't take long before legal users are forced to update to a new firmware. That shit should work as I want it to work whenever I start it, I shouldn't be forced to always have it on standby, or start it once a month to make sure everything is as sony or whomever wants it. Fuck the modern world of console gaming! and if they didnt update you would be here bitching about not getting updates. fuck off |

For online games, I get it, this is the number one way to stop hackers and cheaters. But not for single player games. |

Fuck the modern world of console gaming! Do you do online gaming? Would this still happen if you werent connected online, or would this still occur regardless? I dont do online gaming, so I was curious. |

Yes, you could pull the cable, but lose a lot of content and options, but online games wont start at all. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 80720208 Canada 09/24/2021 01:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was a casual gamer until my nephew got a PS4 and then played every weekend with him. Back in June it said I had to update the console but after trying everything including a manual download, it refused to update because my disc drive was broken (I rarely use hard copy versions of games, I just download right off the internet). Since it wouldn't update, I couldn't play anything. Turned my console into an expensive paperweight. Fuck Sony. |

Culturally outdated by choice User ID: 57564312 United States 09/24/2021 01:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Haven't actually played a PS game in years, but been thinking about hauling out the old PS2 (the PS3 would probably be bogged down for years with updates and I wouldn't spring for anything newer). Thank God I only play single player. But Xenosaga has been calling my name again, and so has the Breath of Fire series. Sometimes it's quite nice to be satisfied with old-school stuff. More deplorable all the time. |
