THE ONLY FOOD LIST you'll ever need to be HEALTHY
Biotin (vit. B8):
Liver (not too much), eggs, fish, seeds, nuts, sweet potatoes (tasty), lentils, mushrooms, bananas, broccoli

Iron:
Beef, chicken, oysters, baked potatoes, cashew nuts, spinach, whole grain bread (NOT TOO MUCH BREAD), quinoa seeds, broccoli

Omega3:
mackerel, herring, salmon, walnuts

Vitamin C:
Oranges, pepper, strawberries, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, potatoes, thyme, chili powder, parsley, kiwi, lemon, papaya

Zinc:
Meat, shellfish, milk (cautious with milk: organic milk/grassfed cows!), potatoes, pure chocolate (low amounts)

Vitamin D:
Oysters, egg yolks (organic eggs/grassfed chicken!), milk (caution), pork meat, salmon, herring, tuna, mushrooms

Calcium:
Cheese (caution), yoghurt, milk (caution), almonds, figs and much of the other foods above

Vitamin A:
Liver (not too much) and much of the above foods

Vitamin K:

We started plant based diet and though we sometimes cheat on the weekends ( because I love fish and chicken) we’ve stuck to it during the weekdays. I feel so much better! All that foggy tiredness has vanished. It’s amazing and I would have never believed I would love it so much.
Today I’m fixing a loaded with veg. potato soup with grilled onion and hatch chilies on toast. It’s the best thing I ever did for my health, I think.

Dr. Terri Wahls is very big on getting your nutrients from food.

She turned her M.S. around and got out of a wheelchair by eating nutrient-dense foods and concentrating on the foods that had vitamins proven to help M.S., mitochondrial function, etc.

I've been trying to do better about getting nutrients from food. This is a great list! Thank you!

One thing I would add is fermented foods.

Thanks Skywave! I follow a very healthy diet and I also exercise at least 5 days per week. It has enabled me to go from stage 3 kidney disease following a partial nephrectomy, to normal kidney function. My doctor was thrilled. My blood pressure normalized after a year and I am no longer on meds. My only comment regarding your list is this: foods today do not contain the high nutritional values of 20-30 years ago. The soil is depleted and full of poisons, and that goes for so called organic foods areas well. For that reason, I also take high quality vitamin and mineral supplements.

Add a fresh slice of lemon to your water. I buy about 6 lemons, wash the outside before slicing. Slice and place on pan, place the pan in the freezer so the slices freeze flat. Once frozen place in freezer bag and you will have fresh lemons for about 2 weeks.
