The governor continues to push vaccines, saying almost all new serious cases since summer began have been in people who are not vaccinated. Northam says the vaccine is incredibly safe and by choosing not to get vaccinated, “You are absolutely hurting other people” and “costing everyone lots of money” by not getting a free vaccine.
Further, he said if you decide not to get the shot, you should think about how you want your family to remember you and how you want your obituary to read.
