I remember, doctor was telling me that children before the age of 1y.o are not supposed to have honey, because of possible salmonella. I took it as "there may be a small amount or S. and infants' immune system is so undeveloped that it cannot handle even that little amount". Which makes me wonder, if those who are now infected by "salmonella from unknown source" are all V.?
