"I know, I am certain that President Trump did not intend to attack the Chinese", the General said among other disclaimers to what had been previously alleged. "My message (to China) was 'stay calm, steady, and de-escalate. We are not going to attack you'". President Trump has stated that Milley "never told me about any calls to China". Correct me if I am wrong, but the process to which General Milley referred repeatedly at the linked story. significantly involves the President of the United States.

How many times do you hear in your lifetime that "the truth lies somewhere in-between"?

So, now I'm more confused than ever. So Milley calls the Chinese "assuring" them Trump will not attack and of course he saves the day.

BUT NOW isn't China openly threatening to attach Taiwan? Aren't they starting to invade their airspace? So is Milly calling the Chinese on this too? Or is Milley simply full of shit?

Please someone, anyone, help me out here! I cannot figure out the U.S. foreign policy anymore at all.

"General Milley, why haven't you resigned?" - Senator Tom Cotton of the Armed Services Committee at 5:50 in the linked video.
