Their argument is that it's not your body your choice if you get someone else sick.

But doesn't that also apply to abortions?

It's not your body your choice if the baby they aborted could have grown up to cure cancer.

It's impossible to state with certainty whether or not someone else will get you sick just as it's impossible to state with certainty whether or not a baby that is aborted might grow up to do harm or good.

The government actually used to force women on welfare to have have their tubes tied aka if you were on welfare and you continued to have children they would give you the choice of get your tubes tied or lose your welfare. This was only stopped entirely in the 1980's.
