"The new HBO show “Euphoria” is one of the most depraved and disgusting shows I have ever seen. There are a number of things that are very alarming about the show and it poses a serious mental health issue to children and adults alike. “Euphoria” is marketed to underage kids, despite the fact it has x-rated content of a very disturbing nature. It stars Disney princess, Zendaya, who I’m very disappointed in for signing on to do this sick show. Zendaya became the face of Disney. People associate her with their kiddy brand. However, “Euphoria” is anything but that."

my spouse watches it and it makes me f****** disgusted. I was so pissed about it, told her it was basically like watching p0rn. she said no, she watches it because it has a good storyline.

which, like I told her, is completely out of character for her bible-reading, god-loving self, to watch something like that.

every time I hear it come on, I leave the room.

makes me feel like I'm the only one who sees the signs in all of this shit they put on TV and throw into people's heads; slowly convincing our spouses that we aren't good enough because we aren't like the guys they've been watching on TV in their sex scenes.

This show disgusts me.

Watching trash like that is like pouring poison into your ears and eyes.

It'll take a good few days to clean up after watching that garbage.

Oh the timing and synergy... a friend of mine and I decided to throw on the first season last night and we were speechless.

Before I even saw this thread we were saying this is massive brainwashing for everyone in HS. In the first episode one of the girls reaction to finding out her friend was a virgin was to say "B**ch this isn't the 80s! You need to get your d*ck!" That line absolutely is unconsciously soaking into the minds of any HS virgins watching the show.

The show is like a car crash you cant look away from. Its absolutely sensationalising drug use and rampant causal sex.

If you look into it.. each of the stars of the show has insane Instagram accounts... millions and millions of followers. Very abnormal even for hit tv shows.

Exactly why I am so disgusted by my wife watching it. Who has been nothing but loyal to me and is well aware of the programming in television, the symbolism, etc. Like a total flip of a character. Must be really fun to watch, I guess, if it's that addicting of a show. Must have some type of mind control from flashes of lights or specific sounds. Super weird. I've only seen glimpses and it sickens me.

downloading it now, need something to binge during this years Texas Snowpocalype...

People actually need to see this show because there are ALOT of old folks out there that have no idea what the young generation has got themselves into nowdays with the complete availability of pretty much all drugs shipped right to your door. shit even adrenchrome!!

The problem is the middle school and high school kids with susceptible minds. It's a very dark show for kids to think is reality. or to become their realities.

I finally watched a few episodes of this show. It looks to be a good show which teaches people about the hidden word of atypical people with problems that nobody wants to talk about. It looks to be target towards adults, mainly parents. It seems to be a good lesson on parenting because many parents don’t know how to raise their kids with good moral values. When we don’t talk about these issues that young people go through, then it becomes a vicious cycle that becomes hard to break.

It isn’t targeted towards kids… it is 18+ or at the very very least 17+ with parental guidance for their 17 year old son or daughter to watch. People seem to forget why age ratings exist but aren’t enforced. This show is not considered pornography so a parent can let their child watch rated R/TV-MA content if they choose to because that is a parents right. A parent who lets a young child watch this show is probably not a good parent… but maybe a 17 year old may be mature enough to handle the mature themes but really these types of shows are targeted to older adults to teach them about the problems in the world and how we can overcome these problems.
