I've been a night owl since a toddler. I've been rewired? Or maybe I think Jesus has me a night owl so when he returns I'll be up. Hehe. If I go 12 timezones away, would I have normal hours? I wonder. But I'm also glad I'm not normal. I stopped fighting it and accepted that I was meant to be, in every way that I am. If I were up for two days, as soon as the sun goes down it's like I just woke up! No matter how many times I've tried to adjust to being up during the full day, I simply can't, for various reasons, I can't. I mean I can, I can't keep it consistent.

when the sun starts coming up, i start getting sleepy, and must slumber until the sun is going down again.

i get headaches from the sunlight, also, the daytime heat... anything over about 70F and i'm clammy.

30F, perfection... even then though, any nervous feelings, and i can soak an armpit (it's weird, usually one side worse than the other).. it can be freezing and im still pitstaining if im uncomfortable.

Night people always seemed nicer than day people and seemed to laugh more.

it doesn't matter if you are "born" or not. You can turn into one. It's just a programming like everything else. Has to do with hormones. Your liver IIRC regulates your circadian rhythms. So does your cortisol. If those are messed up, there you go.

So you're probably right in that sense, and stuff happens to mess up your hormones is my take. Either way, once you are in that cycle, it is "natural" to you, and near impossible to go back. Speaking from experience.

We don’t have great night sight, like most nocturnal animals do.

Can you become a night owl? Most certainly, but you still need a way to get vit D, which you can do with artificial light setups, but I just don’t think we were created to be creatures of the night.
