Quoting: The Clam Before The Storm I de-wormed my chickens today with the Ivermectin 'drench'. I noticed that one of them had a 'bumble' on the bottom of her foot. It's basically a scabbed over staph infection that forms a hard mass underneath. Decided to put some of the drench on the 'bumble' to see if it works. If not, I'll just treat it with my normal method. Interesting to see someone else thinking along the same lines. I'll be curious to see if it works for you. Oh, one deworms chicken with ivermectin too? That explains why our veterinarians here have no ivermectin for private chicken owners left to deworm them. |

Quoting: Justme C'est Moi I had it frozen several times. Very painful process. Giant blood blister afterwards, and the wart kept getting larger each time. Someone mentioned a painless treatment by a dermatologist that was incredibly fast and painless. I got the script for the stuff and it worked in 1 week. It was trade name "Verrex" (I guess because verruca means wart). It was an extract from the root of a flower. It came in a very dark brown jar and was tiny. ANd the goo inside was very dark brown and viscous, almost like liquid tar, except there was a carrier component that made it penetrate the skin. Probably DMSO or similar transdermal agent. The active ingredient was "PodoPhyllin Penederm". Simply amazing stuff. Then I guess it was banned in the USA. About 8 years ago I had another tiny wart on my finger that persisted a couple years. Really small, but the bump would bother me when writing with a pen. Had to order the stuff from outside the US. Seemed different, as the other stuff had a very volatile smelling carrier liquid. This newer stuff was called Podopyllin Resin. At the same time I had also ordered the root powder from Amazon, and made my own decoction of the stuff using isopropyl alcohol. It took 2 weeks (I tried them both). But again, it worked and with no pain. I think the difference in speed was the other stuff in the medicine that allowed it to penetrate the skin tissue better. There was no reason to ban this stuff. It was cheap and super effective. And it came from a damn flower. Another example of medical tyranny. I see it is for sale now once again. Or at least some formulation of it. Looks like they use it on some gay STD warts as well. Probably explains why it is legal again, since the country now worships the gay culture for some reason. I couldn't even sleep I was throwing up my dinner every night. had to chug pepto bismal just to get through the night. Was really bad. Quoting: castawaymg Anyway went to the doc Monday. She's sending me to a specialist. She thinks I have h pylori, some kind of bad stomach bacteria.no no idea if I do. Promptly went home and started researching. Found one study of two patients that had cured theirs with ivermectin. I looked at my horse paste thinking about how it's gonna be at least a month before I can see the specialist. Said f it and took it. First day fever spiked 2 degrees. Second day was the first time I've been able to sleep without chugging pepto. I still have a little acid but nothing like it was. Hoping it cures it completely, taking it again ten days after first dose. Still gonna see the specialist, make sure. But damn I feel 1000x better. You should take it (2) days after first dose, look up Ivermectin "half life" as it applies to timing. stonefly |

I also have a jar of Celox granules that will stop the bleeding if it resists clotting. It's crazy, as soon as I make the cut, I can taste the steel in the scissors. I get the skin tags under my arms all the time. I guess it is from skin friction? Everyone should have some celox in their first aid/trauma kit. I bet very few do. I had a wart on the bottom of my big toe of my right foot. One day in the winter time my feet were wet and I was changing a car battery for one of my customers. I noticed when I was removing the positive battery terminal I got this warm tingling feeling in the wart, like it was conducting current through my wart. I held onto the terminal for a couple of minutes because it actually felt kind of good. I noticed after several days my wart disappeared. Might have been coincidence but I tend to believe the electric current did it. |
