It’s So Obvious And Stupid

So my parents are in their 70’s and have caught the cold/flu for over a week now. Both had to get tested in order to see a doctor.

My mom tested positive for Covid, my dad tested negative twice. How on earth can one test positive and the other negative and both are sick with the same symptoms?

I’m the reason they haven’t gotten the clot shot. Most of my family, aunts, uncles and cousins got it. Night and day for the past year and a half I have been sending videos and showing information for my parents on how it’s all bullshit and the shot is poison, so that has made a difference.

But what pisses me off, is that there is still a slight hesitancy by them to call it bullshit. Like they still believe Covid is more than just the flu and it’s not a fake pandemic. They still have a doubt in their minds.

I said, “Dad, you both are sick and living in the same house but somehow mom is positive and you are negative? You still believe this is real?” And he responds with maybe he has a good immune system. And I said, “But you are sick! Like her! And you tested negative!” And he says, “oh yeah, I don’t know.”

No matter how much you talk, and no matter how much proof you show some people, they will never believe it 100%. Cognitive dissonance ain’t no joke.
