Defiantly a real threat, couple comets splashing down in the ocean would make for a very bad day.
From the article, "The comet's closest approach to Earth will occur sometime in the year 2031." To which I reply I can't wait that long! Lets keep our eyes open for the another kill-shot comet Apophis in 2029.
