It's a new combo smoke and 10 year sealed lithium battery carbon detector that keeps going on/off randomly. Quoting: Mangia Now here's the kicker. It's the 3rd one we've installed there within the past year. Something is activating these damn things, but what is the question. The reason it's there is the central location of the house, so it services multiple rooms. I've even opened and closed doors, check air flow, temperature fluctuations, even put a ladder up and did a smell test close to the ceiling area, and found nothing. It's getting old fast, and especially at night or when we're sleeping. Quality control sucks, i have had 2 of these 10 year alarms go in 3 years. check for the warranty. I feel suffocated by the Oxygen Channel. Found John Galt. (finally saw part 3) Philly Sux! Fucking Pot Holes from last winter are just bigger. |

I'm definitely using the warranties, the issue is just that one spot. I have 4 alarms throughout the house, all the same, and have even switched the 4 out to that hallway; always seems to be the same issue. I may end up abandoning that area altogether. We've never had a problem in the last 30 years with detectors being there. smh |

Quoting: Justice4all We've check all that. No steam, dust, bugs, temperature, chemicals it's when there is nothing going on at all too. And just that one spot. |

Maybe all these made in China furnaces are going to start pumping out Carbon Monoxide at some point? If CO detectors and fire alarms are going off, maybe to get people to disconnect? |
