What has science gotten right?

Serious question.

I was an agnostic for many years. I looked to science at one point to answer the fundamental questions I had about life and the universe, only to find that it couldn't. Not even close. My questions on time, consciousness, and life in general... the origins of universe, the composition of the sun, the origins of our moon. They can't even show us the supposed evolutionary track of our own species. So what is even true? Did they cure disease? No? What is gravity? No clue? Okay. What about the universe? What came before the big bang?

It's all bullshit. As far as I can tell, they're good for nothing but pointing at the basic building blocks and saying "LOOK!", but are completely unable to explain the building itself, or where the blocks came from, etc.

Just a money-making grinder, probably killed more people than they've saved overall.
