In engineering school in 1981, in Logic circuit design, standard functions were AND, OR, NOR, NAND, NOT, XOR etc.
In lecture I recognized the glaring omission of XMB, the exclusive MAYBE, and proposed that it would eliminate much confusion in avoiding "software stupidity" in the future.

That was agreed on that day, but logic and subsequent software look to base 2 numerology to this day.

XMB function is sooooo easy to implement, patentable even, but that's one secret I'm carrying to death.
