if you want to have a professional look, just get a cheap hosting website....

So basically you need a domain name. And you "lease" them out because you basically pay for them to hold it for a year, 2 years, etc. I've had many sites in the past (managed them for friends, etc), and the cheapest domain site at the time was internetbs dot net
you go there, you get a domain name.

Now you need a hosting site for the domain name. I've used all the ones that people use like bluehost, godaddy, namecheap, etc; the best one that never ever gave me trouble was crocweb. They are cheap too.

so internetbs dot net to get your domain name, then you host it on a hosting site like crocweb; dont use bluehost; they suck.

Or you can go on wix dot com and do a free site.

You can get dedicated web hosts and your own domain name for about $3-$5 a month. They often Wordpress templates you can use for blog style publishing.

I use IONOS, basic web hosting like $4 a month I think. That Gator one is pretty popular too…host gator. They are about $3-$4 a month.

Being on this website in this climate, you should understand the importance of hosting your own content.
