Blount County is definitely not a liberal place. [ link to www.blounttn.org (secure)] The Blount County Budget Committee has sent a balanced budget to the County Commission that has no tax increase, no use of fund balance, and has paid off more of our debt and created no new debt. Zacklee. I expect to have an op-ed published in tomorrow's paper here, as the editor said it would be. It is the Blount County Paper of record, The Daily Times. Though the editor censored some, still, it will be an official Op-Ed and I stated my opinion. My spouting, my opinion, and likely some GLPers will agree with my article. Looking forward to it. Next up... God Bless Smith & Wesson !!! Thank you, beeches !!  would be a great, great gift. Men of their word - like you - are rare, but not unknown in newspaperdom. I know the feeling! Harry, the radio station owner, read it on air on his local radio show, and called on air and interviewed me about it. Amazing that you remember. Will look. It's all local stuff, ya know...
