NEW: Sweden, Denmark, Norway decided to suspend or discourage the use of Moderna vaccine in young people, and Finland followed the suit.

As reports turn up regarding a higher rate of heart inflammation, a very rare side effect of the Covid vaccine, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway decided to suspend or discourage the use of Moderna vaccine in young people, and Finland decided to follow suit.

Sweden has indefinitely suspended the administration of Moderna to people aged less than 30, while Denmark stated that they won’t be offering up the vaccine to people aged less than 18. Mika Salminen of the Finnish Health Institute put forth a statement saying they won’t be providing the vaccine to people born after the year 1991, especially men as they exhibited a higher rate of vulnerability to the disease, and would be offering Pfizer. Likewise, Denmark has also urged the residents to opt for Pfizer.
