They sell mostly freeze dried food supplies. Procurement of raw foods to make their products makes sense on a large scale. There are home freeze dryer machines on the market. They are expensive, but they do pay for themselves over time.

Yikes. If this was normal food production I would just strug it off. However, one has to wonder in these trouble times if FEMA, DOD, or someoene else bought up all their production and this is just a cover for that.

I think a lot of these companies also import things like dehydrated vegetables from China. China is a HUGE producer of these things. All of that stuff is likely waiting off the port of Los Angeles for delivery.

God, I hope not.

It makes sense. Ive been buying as much Agasson Farms food as possible since the news came out they may ban the non-vacciated from grocery shopping.

They immediately ran out of food (they likely were alredy low on supply), good company.

They couldn't fill orders and quit selling until they could to keep a positive view of a great company.

I mean people order this item mainly through Amazon. Its no suprise they are out.

I got my order over a month ago as I knew this day would come. Augason farms makes some very good products and I especially like their freeze-dried vegetables for making soups and casseroles. Glad I didn't hesitate!

Yep, thanks for the heads up. I went ahead and am trying to order whatever they have left. It looks like it MIGHT arrive on the 23rd.

I just dry my fruit and veggies in a cheep air dryer. Then vacuum pack it. Stores well and lasts a long time. Flavor is not that great but that’s what Tabasco is for.

I knew it was coming a year or more ago, they started having trouble when covid hit. Before that they had monthly sweeps for a years supply (I won the very last one they had)

The vegetables are good, the beef SUCKS (I couldn't even get the dogs to eat it) and the chicken tastes like the chicken in the Lipton dry soup mix...but if you are hungry.....

I ordered from them many times before covid, but they just never could replenish after the start

That is a major signal amidst the noise.

I can't even imagine what America will be like in 90 days.

Not really It's a product on Amazon that accepts EBT for payment.

From the government's perspective it's just another supply chain problem

from the free market's perspective when you push forward MASSIVE AMOUNTS of DEMAND with free government money SUPPLY WILL BE LIMITED

It won't be a REAL issue until inflation is no longer "transitory". I mean the dollar is still STRONG and it's going to get VERY, VERY WEAK then prices will really rise.

January I ordered from Patriot supply. They were having issues filling my order, but it did eventually come.

Seems like all these types of companies are having supply issues.

I'm still salty that mountain house stopped selling their pilot bread crackers in 2020. They were danged good crackers!
Can't hardly find them anywhere, and when you can they price them like they are a collectors item.

This world is stupid.

Auguson Farms is a major benchmark for anyone survival/prep oriented.

They have a retail footprint vastly beyond Amazon.

The demand for their product is not driven by free-government money.

Inflation has little to do with this.

They are now the canary in the coal mine for the emergency/storable foods industry.

That is not good they make good stuff, I have many of their stuff in storage, its way cheaper than some of the other sites too.

same here, makes me want to make a trip to the Market!
