Many pilots are hearing this just as we have, through small leaks, they kept this walkout tight lipped because they are afraid it will become a thing.

Heard something about MCO last night but could not find any corroborating stories.

Who hear lives in Orlando? Heard all flight supposedly cancelled last night?

Allison Hill went to Disney World with her family. She said their 9:50 p.m. flight Friday from Orlando to Houston was delayed and eventually canceled early Saturday morning.

On Saturday, they rented a car in hopes of getting a flight out of Tampa to get home.

Just want to say that there is already a huge pilot shortage. Airlines who have not layed off for the mandate, are struggling just to fly all the lines. Some flights just don’t have the staff…..

Lots of flying can be picked up. Not at all like it was during 2020.

Some one just listen to liveatc.net Jax center.

A pilot will either ask about it over the radio, or a controller might mention it. Also, usually the controller will change out on a cyclical basis.

Could be some clues there

I don’t know. If there are many pilots on leave (or medical leave) we aren’t hearing about it. I hear one here and there from one airline or another having a reaction or losing their license from the shot, maybe 5 total.

If they can keep the walkout in Jacksonville quiet for almost 24 hours, what else are we not told?

Just want to say that before the pandemic, overtime was plentiful. You could pick up as many trips as you wanted that fit into your schedule.

Overall, without any pandemic numbers…there is a huge pilot shortage. An underlying issue for years.

Awesome !! I pray it spreads and the whole industry comes crashing down, metaphorically.

I hope the airline industry is our first planetary poster child for mandate effects.
