Does standing up for one's right to freely assimilate and move where one wants to live now constitute an 'attitude'? Seems strange to me..

Actually, I have travelled all over the great state of Texas. The technical training classes I brought were standing room only because the knowledge gained was very profitable. Truth be told, there isn't a whole lot there for me. It's nice to visit though. The California hate is as stale as the covid pandemic and twice as dumb as the old "don't mess with Texas" sloganeering from years past. People are just over it already. It just sounds profoundly... dumb.

I realize this is just a small , tiny little point, but if elections were ever audited in Texas, a republican would never win another major race. No way to win a fair election, the demographics prove that impossibility.

That's why there is no way to audit our elections in 93 percent of our voting precincts, in contradiction of our election statutes.

Now do you want to know who fixes the elections? The same people that make the processors for the voting machines with the built in wireless back doors.

I have news, it was New York where I learned not to take any shit. I hear all this bullshit about how tough Texans are, let see them do what I did, in reverse, and see how well they fare in NY. If you can make it in NY, YOU CAN MAKE IT ANYWHERE.

My Dad lived there and is buried there, and I always liked visiting Texas growing up. The population has exploded there since I was young. Great people were always the backbone of the state! Montana is my home, and a sister state.

Not at all. But I also would welcome you if you ever had occasion to visit my state, and if you ever became my neighbor, I would treat you with utmost respect until or unless you gave me compelling reason not to. I certainly wouldn't prejudge you by your license plate.

I have visited your state. Several times, in fact.

The first visit in the late 90s, I thought it wonderful.

Last visit 2 years ago was brief, thank God. The stench and the how far she has fallen was appalling.

Have no intention of returning, unless it's a layover awaiting another flight.

Scrump - That's accurate and exactly why I'm thinking of leaving. Kids are grown, job can be mobile and this place is getting nastier all the time. The homeless are out of freaking control, whole place has gone to hell.

Yes. I know all too well. I moved here in the mid 80's, 17 years old, $300 to my name, no friends, one very bad relative. I went from homeless in the north Valley to homeowner in a very nice town. This state has been good to me and it breaks my heart to see what it has become. Governor Reagan was the high water mark.

I just bought a place down in Texas.

My daughter and her husband have just moved down there.

The red state of Texas just got a little more red.

I don't live there but have been through there. From the outside, it appears it might be too late.
