Drove to the store ... ONE PERSON WORKING and doing everything.

ONE PERSON working like a one armed paper hanger trying to get all the work done by himself!! No wonder he wasn't answering the phone and taking phone orders too. If not for him that store would have been CLOSED! (and nope, he was NOT the manager or even an assistant manager, just a worker)

After my pizza was done I gave him a nice tip even though it was a carry out order. He definitely was underpaid for what he was doing last night.

This is what it was like at a nursing home. They never hired the second nurse after she quit so double the patients. Then they never hired the secretary after she quit, so desk clerk and phones too. Never got a raise for all those missed salaries.

That was nice of you. Hope he takes home pizzas for himself. That should supplement his income.
