Long time grocer,20,yrs. here, went out of business, due to supply chain break down. I see prices taking off on EVERYTHING !!! Fuel has gone up 75 % here in 2 years !!!! No workers,no traffic.

Some of the blame has to given to the sheeple nature of people willing to get in such long lines to begin with. Maybe if Dunkin was offering free food, some of the sheeple waiting in line would make a bit more sense.

There's a Starbucks near me with a long line in the morning. No way in hell would I go to that drive-thru and get stuck in front and behind so many cars. Even if they were offering $50 of free junk.

Just because you make it from home, doesn't necessarily mean it's good for you, either.

Better than fast food- yes, probably.

However, the junk that supermarkets carry is not really any better.

I know many folks who worked the same hours you did and brown bagged it during the 1950's-1990's. They have as many or more health issues than any other person, because they don't move.

It's all about diet AND getting enough physical activity.

Processed foods like deli Lunchmeats, boxed side dishes and desserts, chips, breads, sodas, juices, cereals, box snacks (Granola bars, fruit roll ups, etc.) ie. 'Everything in the middle aisles,' is all trash.

And old fashioned cooking often involves a lot of pure lard, butter, oils, flour, etc. Those ingredients are terrible for your health.

Eating any of that stuff years ago wasn't so bad, because most people performed physically intense labor AND that was all they ate the entire day.

Now, the most physical exertion people get is lifting their fingers to type on a keyboard.

Not a good mix. We need to get out and move more.

Lockdowns, masks, vaccines, and threats of no travel, etc. for the non-vaxxed, have encouraged very bad eating habits and no desire to exercise for a lot of people.

Which is all by design by tptb, I'm sure.

They are destroying us mentally and physically, and we are letting them.

That's funny. I swear this is true. My parents lived in Roswell GA in the eighties and tried to talk me into moving there because even the Wendy's was paying 19/hour. I wasn't moving to Roswell GA. I worked in bars in New Orleans and made at least 200 a night. Cash. Prices are already way too high at fast food places. They are done.

That's like eating 5 Big Macs and a diet coke.

Fast food is bad

Most everyone that works from home is judgemental.

While they sit inside and have all amenities, even their bed and climate control, easy food.

Real hard work, several dozens of miles from home, and in all climates sometimes warrants fast food. If you're going that route, Wendy's isn't bad at all.

I've seen places close because of lack of employees, even under Trump (though it wasn't ANYTHING like now). I think people are generally endebting themselves and living lavishly as if there isn't a care in the world.

I'm sure you've taken lunch as well and gone through the same shit I have. It's so hot sometimes where I work even the best lunchbox won't keep food cold, and so cold in winter you could probably only bring ice cream lol or be like the Mexicans I see and haul around a microwave at all times.



Women HATE when men go out to eat too while they're out busting ass all day. Maybe help by making him a lunch then? Just an idea... Oh and when he can't eat because of aforementioned issues, maybe have dinner ready when he gets home.

Single fellas I'm with ya! It can be really tough with no support. Working 730 am to 11pm leaves you so drained you can't just go cook. And you gotta get up and do it all again tomorrow.

The war is on in the workplace. Thanks to the organization on the left, anyone who supports trump is on a list and are being tormented by the other staff members until they finally quit, which was the goal. The new hires will be leftists who will be far worse workers but it is no longer about job performance.

I waited for 45 minutes today to get my Uber eats order. The Wayback Burger employees seemed high, on marijuana. They were out of French fries and chocolate milkshake. I walked out when the manager told me that I had to be nice or they were going to refuse to serve me. I told her I was making $7 off the order and they had not started to prepare it yet. They served certain people and made the rest of us stand there like idiots. I walked out.

It is like that at fast food places, dollar stores, etc...

So the fuck what? Get a life.
