My husband went to the ER because he couldn't breathe in 2020. He didn't have covid, but they didn't immediately know that. So THEY wore protective gear.

He couldn't wear a mask because he couldn't breathe. After they figured out he didn't have covid or anything contagious, they took off the gear.

For the fucking moron who thinks everyone should wear a mask or just die: this is how such situations are handled. the doctor and nurses were wearing full gear, not just a mask.

A mask like most people wear does fuck all anyway.

Every hospital emergency room I’ve ever been to in recent years, well before Covid, have mask dispensers for people to use if they have something they could spread.

It's a very big hospital in Texas.... I'm surprised you never heard of this.

Those real old nurses in Texas can be absolutely the most insensitive to women in the age range of 16-19.

I probably should’ve sued them for how they treated me twice over in one weekend when I was 17. Cruel is not even a good enough word for how they treated me, and that was two decades ago.
