I'm very concerned about what will happen to our elderly in these homes. Also my stepbrother who was adopted by my mom. He lives in one due to some developmental and psychiatric issues because his mother was an addict. He is way too hard for us to care for and that home keeps him so happy. I am so worried what will happen if they can no longer adequately staff that place. These boys are adults, but they have to be watched like they are toddlers because of the trouble they can get into. Before we put him in that home, he was getting arrested regularly for public outbursts and he was always running away. In this home, he is happy and well-controlled.
