What is sad about all of this is how basically helpless we have become as a society on the whole. Peaceful protests are great and civil but they haven't had any real impact in our favour that I can see yet. They just keep tightening the vice and more people fold with every turn.

We need to hit them where it hurts and frankly I'm not sure I know where that is short of dragging them out in the streets and well....you know the rest.
