I traveled to Nevada/Utah/Idaho/Montana/Eastern Oregon over the summer, found out everybody else did as well. The real estate agents and their banker buddies are waiting to do business with you, and contractors that are double and triple the prices compared to other areas are readily available, no way am I that desperate to overpay those prices when there is nothing but 7/11 type jobs as the major employer, ridicules.

My point being was wages, I said nothing about actually going there, analogy much? That said, recommend an area that wasn't $250k over priced in any of those states.
