DeSantis needs to cut off state funding to the county to the tune of $3.5 million, and issue a one time rebate to all REGISTERED voters of Leon county, a percentage of the $3.5 million that's been withheld from the county.
Quoting: Massive Attack That way DeSantis fucks over the county but wins over the voters and if the county raises the taxes, the people have been compensated for the supposed shortfall. In essence, he's indemnifying the residents who are LEGAL voters from any punitive action in the immediate future.
