For the Brits Do not confuse some British BAKING SODA with SODIUM BICARBONATE / BICARBONATED SODA


In Britain and many other countries baking soda or baking powder is bicarbonated soda with additives like POTTASSIUM BITARTRATE / cream of tartar (which is acidic, while sodium bicarbonate is alkaline). SO NOT reccommended as an antacid. etc .. plain sodium bicarbonate without cream of tartar is good as an antacid,,,,,If you want only sodium bicarbonate check it is only sodium bicarbonate.
