Is that what you want? to be separate from God .. . For purposes of this thread, assume that God is the Eternal One, the Creator of all... the one Source.
Who wants to be separate from God? When you worship, you are separating yourself from God, by placing "him" in a place higher than yourself. You place a distance between you and "him."
While this applies to any and all religions, I'll focus on the book I am most familiar with.... and in that book, Yahshua says do not look for the Kingdom outside of yourself, for you can find it only within.
And in that book, does Yahshua ever say to worship either the Father or Himself? No. Quoting: Satya Revelations 'To worship God causes only separation from Him'? Says WHO? John 4 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe
me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither
in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22 Ye worship ye know not what: we
know what we worship: for salvation is of the Je-ws.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is,
when the true worshippers shall worship
the Father in spirit and in truth: for the
Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship
him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
