As an agnostic I don't support any kind of outright, unyielding belief in God absent any compelling evidence let alone full proof, but also am not outright convinced of said alleged Being's nonexistence. However, OP is spot on concerning the concept of worship, which is completely groveling, lowly slavery, total separation. The sane and intelligent alternative to worship is simply admiration, gratitude, love. Need to rise up as a species and get a grip.
