Re: To worship God causes only separation from Him
Is that what you want? to be separate from God .. . For purposes of this thread, assume that God is the Eternal One, the Creator of all... the one Source.

Who wants to be separate from God? When you worship, you are separating yourself from God, by placing "him" in a place higher than yourself. You place a distance between you and "him."

While this applies to any and all religions, I'll focus on the book I am most familiar with.... and in that book, Yahshua says do not look for the Kingdom outside of yourself, for you can find it only within.

And in that book, does Yahshua ever say to worship either the Father or Himself? No.
 Quoting: Satya Revelations

I agree in many ways God hates worship.

There are infinite narratives that are playing out.

One is kind of that simple

God is alone and wants to play so is looking for peers that do too.

the way so many approach god prevents this from happening

and in the end, the desire is more for choice in that way of being than that way of being through 'omnipotent magicks'

and for even more other reasons too and perspectives that gets us to our current state of 'limbo'

you know what that means

One star bandit already......

Pretty sure I know who that is..... don't be a coward, say what I posted is deserving of a one star?
 Quoting: Satya Revelations

there is much what I'll call 'confused desire' to have this kind of hierarchical game of 'The Pyramid' , rather than the one that dick clark used to host.

I say confused because so many of those that want to play that are terrible at it and are so delusional that they have compartmentalized themselves as masters. The ol Ralph Kramdom 'king of the castle' syndrome as I now just decided to call it.

Let's take it even a step further and say that the definition of worship must be deveined and clarified. There have already been quite a few posts on this thread that have pointed out what it is and what it isn't. That was the whole intention behind my starting this thread with to awaken two people to what it is and what it isn't

Re: To worship God causes only separation from Him
To worship an external entity, means to bow down to it.... to basically declare it your master. There is separation.

To recognize the Kingdom within yourself, means to be one with God. To commune with him through your heart... recognizing and reflecting on the beauty of all creation.
 Quoting: Satya Revelations

Yes, love and honor God. Not fear and worship God.

The Bible has some wonderful teachings to guide humanity to evolve spiritually to greater wisdom and maturity.

But it would be very overly optimistic to believe the Bible is immune to human biases through misunderstanding, misinterpretation, and ill intent.

The caring and benevolent God is pure unconditional love.

In unconditional love there will always be unity, inclusion, and equality. Never separation, exclusion, and superiority.

Why then would the Bible contain words such as "King of Kings", "Lord", "Master", "Servant", "Obey", "Worship", "Judgement", "Punishment", "Heaven", and "Hell".

All those words seem to be describing what we do here while still in low wisdom and maturity.

Human biases. We can not know what we don't know yet, and so we explain what we don't know with what we only know at that moment. We made "Heaven" to be dysfunctional just like what we have here by believing there was a war in "Heaven" and the "Fallen Angels" are the evil entities that rule the Earth. And that there are Archangels who rank the highest of all angels.

We are all expressions of God for an amazing adventure while in human form on this side of the Veil of Forgetfulness to grow up from spiritual immaturity to greater maturity and wisdom that will eventually lead to uncovering who we truly are.

And when that happens, we begin to gradually shed our false nature that is the ego, and begin to return to our true nature of unconditional love, compassion, benevolence, and joy. It is a long challenging process that spans many lifetimes of maturing through free will exploring, experiencing (both good and bad), and learning that ultimately will assist with bringing love and light to this young dark barbaric world.

In unconditional love, we will always do what is best for others. Not because we have to, but because we innately want to out of love and passion to see everyone and everything do well. Equality and compassion.

Rethink about wishing harm to those with different religious beliefs or perspectives than our own to suffer for eternity in some demonic place call Hell.

Peace and harmony on Earth will not happen when one exclusive group believes it is better and more superior than all others.

God's messages will always be uniting, uplifting, and empowering to inspire us all to seek greater spiritual knowledge and grow up to greater wisdom and maturity.

Careful of any spiritual teachings that put fear in us, belittle us, separate us, or make us more confused. Those are not the teachings from God, but rather they are teachings from men.

Proverbs 3
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80582752

youknow

My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart guard my precepts.

For they shall set before you length of days, and years of life, and peace.

Let not mercy and truth abandon you: encircle them around your throat, and inscribe them on the tablets of your heart.

And so shall you discover grace and good discipline, in the sight of God and men.

Have confidence in the Lord with all your heart, and do not depend upon your own prudence.

In all your ways, consider him, and he himself will direct your steps.

Do not seem wise to yourself. Fear God, and withdraw from evil.

Certainly, it shall be health to your navel, and refreshment to your bones.

Honor the Lord with your substance, and give to him from the first of all your fruits,

and then your storehouses will be filled with abundance, and your presses shall overflow with wine.

My son, do not discard the discipline of the Lord, and do not fall away when you are corrected by him.

For whomever the Lord loves, he corrects, and just as a father does with a son, he wins him over.

Blessed is the man who finds wisdom and who advances to prudence.

Her acquisition is better than trading in silver, and her fruit is better than the first and purest gold.

She is more precious than all riches, and all that can be desired cannot prevail in comparison to her.

Length of days is at her right hand, and at her left hand is wealth and glory.

Her ways are beautiful ways, and all her paths are peaceful.

She is a tree of life to those who overtake her, and he who shall take hold of her is blessed.

The Lord founded the earth on wisdom. He secured the heavens with prudence.

By his wisdom, the abyss erupted and the clouds increased with dew.

My son, let not these things move away from your eyes. Preserve law as well as counsel.

And so shall there be life in your soul and grace in your voice.

Then you shall walk confidently in your way, and your feet will not stumble.

When you slumber, you shall not fear. When you rest, your sleep also will be sweet.

Do not fear unexpected terror, nor the power of the impious falling upon you.

For the Lord will be at your side, and he will guard your feet, so that you may not be seized.

Do not prevent him who is able from doing good. When you are able, do good yourself too.

Do not say to your friend: “Go away, and then return. Tomorrow I will give to you.” When you are able to do so, give in the present.

Do not undertake evil against your friend, even though he has trust in you.

Do not rival an unjust man, and do not imitate his ways.

For everyone who ridicules is an abomination to the Lord, and his communication is for the simple.

Destitution in the house of the impious is from the Lord. But the habitations of the just shall be blessed.

He will ridicule those who ridicule, but he will bestow grace upon the mild.

The wise will possess glory. The exaltation of the foolish is disgraceful. - Proverbs 3:1-35 Vulgate

Proverbs 1:1-7

1 The proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel:

2 To know wisdom and instruction, to understand words of insight,

3 to receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness, justice, and equity;

4 to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth –

5 Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance, 6 to understand a proverb and a saying, the words of the wise and their riddles.

7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80582752

youknow

And fear mean respect to me.

All wisdom comes from the LORD and with him it remains forever.

The sand of the seashore, the drops of rain, the days of eternity: who can number these?

Heaven's height, earth's breadth, the depths of the abyss: who can explore these?

Before all things else wisdom was created; and prudent understanding, from eternity.

To whom has wisdom's root been revealed? Who knows her subtleties?

There is but one, wise and truly awe-inspiring, seated upon his throne:

It is the LORD; he created her, has seen her and taken note of her.

He has poured her forth upon all his works, upon every living thing according to his bounty; he has lavished her upon his friends.

Fear of the LORD is glory and splendor, gladness and a festive crown.

Fear of the LORD warms the heart, giving gladness and joy and length of days.

He who fears the LORD will have a happy end; even on the day of his death he will be blessed.

The beginning of wisdom is fear of the LORD, which is formed with the faithful in the womb.

With devoted men was she created from of old, and with their children her beneficence abides.

Fullness of wisdom is fear of the LORD; she inebriates men with her fruits.

Her entire house she fills with choice foods, her granaries with her harvest.

Wisdom's garland is fear of the LORD, with blossoms of peace and perfect health.

Knowledge and full understanding she showers down; she heightens the glory of those who possess her.

The root of wisdom is fear of the LORD; her branches are length of days. - Ben Sirach 1:1-18

Listen, sons, to the discipline of a father, and pay attention, so that you may know prudence.

I will bestow upon you a good gift. Do not relinquish my law.

For I, too, was the son of my father, tender and an only son in the sight of my mother.

And he taught me, and he also said: “Let your heart accept my words. Keep my precepts, and you shall live.

Obtain wisdom, obtain prudence. May you neither forget, nor turn away from, the words of my mouth.

Do not send her away, and she will guard you. Love her, and she will preserve you.

The beginning of wisdom is to obtain wisdom, and, with all that you possess, to acquire prudence.

Grasp her, and she will exalt you. You will be glorified by her, when you have embraced her.

She will bestow upon your head an increase in graces, and she will protect you with a noble crown.

Listen, my son, and accept my words, so that years of life may be multiplied for you.

I will demonstrate to you the way of wisdom. I will lead you along the paths of equity.

When you have entered by these, your steps will not be constrained, and when running, you will have no obstacle.

Take hold of discipline. Do not dismiss it. Guard it, for it is your life.

Do not delight in the paths of the impious, nor permit the way of evil-doers to please you.

Take flight from it. Do not pass close to it. Turn away and abandon it.

For they do not sleep, unless they have done evil. And their sleep is quickly taken away from them, unless they have overthrown.

They eat the bread of impiety, and they drink the wine of iniquity.

But the path of the just is like a shining light: it advances and increases, even to the day of completion.

The way of the impious is darkened. They do not know where they may fall.

My son, pay attention to my sermons, and incline your ear to my eloquent words.

Let them not recede from your eyes. Keep them in the midst of your heart.

For they are life to those who find them and health to all that is flesh.

Preserve your heart with all watchfulness, for life proceeds from this.

Remove from yourself a corrupt mouth, and let detracting lips be far from you.

Let your eyes look straight ahead, and let your eyelids precede your steps.

Direct the path of your feet, and all your ways shall be secure.

Turn aside, neither to the right, nor to the left; yet turn your foot away from evil. For the Lord knows the ways that are on the right, and truly, those that are on the left are perverse. But he himself will make your courses straight. Then your journey will advance in peace." - Proverbs 4:1-27 Vulgate

Make no different, for you had deleted many light of truth anyway.

pennywise

But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.

Did I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent unto you?

I desired Titus, and with him I sent a brother. Did Titus make a gain of you? walked we not in the same spirit? walked we not in the same steps?

Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying. - 2 Corinthians 12:16-19

Avoid a man who is a heretic, after the first and second correction,

knowing that one who is like this has been subverted, and that he offends; for he has been condemned by his own judgment. - Titus 3:10-11

And so be it. I have not burdened you, but instead, being astute, I obtained you by guile. - 2 Corinthian 12:16

Proverbs 26

The fool
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80582752

youknow

In the manner of snow in the summer, and rain at the harvest, so also is glory unfit for the foolish.

Like a bird flying away to another place, and like a sparrow that hurries away freely, so also a curse uttered against someone without cause will pass away.

A whip is for a horse, and a muzzle is for donkey, and a rod is for the back of the imprudent.

Do not respond to the foolish according to his folly, lest you become like him.

Respond to the foolish according to his folly, lest he imagine himself to be wise.

Whoever sends words by a foolish messenger has lame feet and drinks iniquity.

In the manner of a lame man who has beautiful legs to no purpose, so also is a parable unfit for the mouth of the foolish.

Just like one who casts a stone into the pile of Mercury, so also is he who gives honor to the foolish.

In the manner of a thorn, if it were to spring up from the hand of a drunkard, so also is a parable in the mouth of the foolish.

Judgment determines cases. And whoever imposes silence on the foolish mitigates anger.

Like a dog that returns to his vomit, so also is the imprudent who repeats his foolishness.

Have you seen a man who seems wise to himself? There will be greater hope held for the unwise than for him.

The lazy one says, “There is a lion along the way, and a lioness in the roads.”

Just as a door turns upon its hinges, so also does the lazy one turn upon his bed.

The lazy one conceals his hand under his arms, and it is a labor for him to move it to his mouth.

The lazy one seems wiser to himself than seven men speaking judgments.

Just like one who takes hold of a dog by the ears, so also is he who crosses impatiently and meddles in the quarrels of another.

Just as he is guilty who let loose the arrows and the lances unto death,

so also is the man who harms his friend by deceitfulness. And when he has been apprehended, he says, “I did it jokingly.”

When the wood fails, the fire will be extinguished. And when the gossiper is taken away, conflicts will be quelled.

Just as charcoals are to burning coals, and wood is to fire, so also is an angry man who stirs up quarrels.

The words of a whisperer seem simple, but they penetrate to the innermost parts of the self.

In the same manner as an earthen vessel, if it were adorned with impure silver, conceited lips are allied with a wicked heart.

An enemy is known by his lips, though it is from his heart that he draws out deceit.

When he will have lowered his voice, do not believe him, for there are seven vices in his heart.

Whoever covers hatred with deceit, his malice shall be revealed in the assembly.

Whoever digs a pit will fall into it. And whoever rolls a stone, it will roll back to him.

A false tongue does not love truth. And a slippery mouth works ruin. - Proverbs 26:1-28 Vulgate

Re: To worship God causes only separation from Him
to worship God is to worship the creation and rightfully so... God is not comprehended on this world. Jesus taught this actually and you can probably find it in your bible.

Jesus said worship goes ONLY TO GOD the CREATION Creator.
Quoting: ALL IS ONE IS ALL

The 'creation' didn't do anything.

The Creator DID. He CREATED.

Worship animals...rocks...trees?

That's idolatry.

another do

I think worship creates an unhealthy relationship

Says WHO?

John 4

21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe
me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither
in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

22 Ye worship ye know not what: we
know what we worship: for salvation is of the Je-ws.

23 But the hour cometh, and now is,
when the true worshippers shall worship
the Father in spirit and in truth: for the
Father seeketh such to worship him.

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship
him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

One star bandit already......

Pretty sure I know who that is..... don't be a coward, say what I posted is deserving of a one star?
 Quoting: Satya Revelations

Hey I don't mind telling you that I gave you one star! I'm telling you right now that you better Worship the Lord if you want to make it to heaven and knock off all foolishness and sinning
 Quoting: bro tim

What is your definition of worship? And the Creator knows we can be very foolish in this hard ass world and that we make mistakes ( sinning?) all the time. It's how we learn. A loving all knowing father doesn't want us being in fear of him. He wants us to learn and grow and become more like Him and we do that slowly and by making mistakes. All of which can be overcome. Sometimes it's tough love but that's how we grow stronger. The one wanting is to live in fear and needing worship is not our true Eternal Father. But he poses as such. Becoming still and silent and listening within to the Kingdom is how you know the difference. Also, you can ask for help anytime anywhere.
