Yes, Rush Hospital in Chicongo, bad neighborhood but easy to find with all the blue flashing lights everywhere. All employees/contractors have to be vaxxed. Funny, that weekly for the last few weeks my wife is getting requests to 'chip in' and help in one of the departments, seems they're short handed all of a sudden. They don't know she's unvaxxed.

Hey OP, just want to wish you well and I hope you pull through with relative ease. I have people very close to me in the same boat. On a positive note our government folded for the time being due to the inability to cope with staffing shortages.
Don't quit until they boot you through the door.

I’m glad you stood for what you believe - it’s a scary path to put your faith in what your gut tells you is right, but I think you made a good choice. I’d rather make do with less money and be less stressed/more happy. Paramedics have a super stressful job and thanks for your service but you have to look out for yourself. Best of luck to you both!

There’s a job was considering applying for. On their website in September, they started requiring vax for new hires. Thinking about applying anyway, then if offered tell them same thing and see what happens.

If you're in TX then how can they force the mandate? I actually want to move to tx and sit for fire tests while working as an emt and getting a paramedic cert.

I know plenty of Medics, Cops, Firefighters, Nurses, RT's not getting the shit!
Funny thing about all this....I worked during the days of beginning fear over HIV/Aids....we had NO direction from the CDC or the NIH.
Then came SARS.....and 9/11....and Anthrax. Again, NOTHING from CDC/NIH.
Then we had Swine Flu/Bird Flu.....nothing. All the while, we faced HepB/C and TB...along with a myriad of other , more deadly Things.

The CDC/NIH has become a weapon of he Deepstate....it is obvious!
