She said she's getting a haircut too, ironically delayed 2 weeks because her stylist has "The Flu". She panicked for weeks about it. Wet drowned rats found at the drain of the shower. She obsessed over it. Says she can see "little stubble" coming in so she thinks it's just all her old hair thats going out and she's getting new hair that will take awhile to grow back. Thank you for posting so I can let her know she's not alone. Energy flows where focus goes. WHen you have a fever for several days, it can give you horizontal ridges in your finger nails that takes months to grow out. The stress of having a novel virus can cause your hair to fall out. Hair grows like every 60 to 90 days, so the effects can post date the end of the illness. |

Damned if mine didn't start about a month ago, which is about three months after I went through an awful episode of the "C" word. (That damn word makes me so mad I even hate saying it.) It has disrupted our lives in so many ways, and now my gorgeous hair has thinned out to the point I have a bald spot on top and I had to cut it all the way up to my shoulders yesterday. Quoting: Ol' Cowgirl I hate COVID Has anyone else experienced hair loss after going tthrough COVID? How do you know you had "covid"? A fake PCR test--that may have been contaminated, itself. Unfortunately, before "covid" we have all seen some women have had that problem. |

Quoting: Ol' Cowgirl I hate COVID Has anyone else experienced hair loss after going tthrough COVID? I had covid in early August. My hair began falling out by the handful a few weeks ago. I immediately started taking 3000 mcg of biotin, an iron supplement and a multivitamin daily. Only washing my hair once a week(I don't have greasy hair so it's not an issue). Use dry shampoo if possible, when needed. I've been very gentle with my hair. No straightening, no flatiron. Noticed on Monday I'm losing less, alot less hair now. Whew... ~K |
