Our system reminds me of a 90's JRPG where the machines constantly require everything for fuel and the workforce is slaves to the machine and must keep shovelling sh* in.

you can't have .9999 silver and be a typical american rednek. you actually have to care for the silver.

Gold, if oxidized in a humid environment loses 90% of its value in 1 year.

Silver, if oxidized loses 90% of its value in less than a month.

much of those premiums are collector's value. when we fall into economic suicide, that collector's value will be worthless. nobody will be excited about collecting coins while
living in the economic nightmare brought on by democrats.

i buy bullion with much smaller premiums.

BS. Both have 1oz of pure silver. Too pure scratches easier. That's why eagles have a little more copper, so you can't damage it with your fingernail.

You know some say that after the reset, you can only keep the silver or gold coins of the 'realm' which would be the government.

So if you lived in the states you'd want to own eagles and if you lived in Canada you'd want to own maple leafs.

The Canadian Mint put a sealer on the maples to stop the milk spots this year, so only buy 2021 & newer.
I like the Britannias as well. The 2022's are being released at the end of October. Plus, Krugerands and Philharmonics are other silver coins with a government denomination.
I have a lot of buffalo rounds and constitutional silver.
My favorites for collectibles come from the Germania Mint.
They are beautiful, but I'm a girl - what would a girl know...
Buy all you can while it's on sale!

Maples are 24 karat gold, Purer gold than Eagles. Buy the full ounce coins in Maples, then the 1/10th, 1/4 and 1/2 ounce coins in Eagles.

Also, buy as much American 1964 or earlier junk silver as possible. Dimes, Quarters, Halves and Silver Dollars.

1982 or earlier American Pennies-95% Copper and only 5% Zinc. Also, American Nickel's are 75% Copper and 25% Nickel still.

Can you think of anything copper could be used for? Bars of Copper are still relatively cheap. Also, you can extrude copper from trash fairly easily if you don't want to buy it out-right (as well as other useful metals).

When it comes to liquidity, eagles and maples are pretty on par (everyone will buy them), but your premium recapture will be less with maples. Not as bad as rounds (which is usually below spot), but eagles will net more back. Eagles just command more when you go to sell.

Coin collecting is for coin collectors. Other than that, precious metals coins are worthless as an investment in todays society. It is place holding commodity at best. You hold it until you are ready to invest in something else.

Honestly, stay out of it. It is highly volatile and does nothing but tie up your wealth. If you are laundering money and need a place to park, so the trial can grow cold, then yes, this would be a product for you. That and grandparent that start a collection for their grand kids when they are little to receive when they are in their 30's.
