Re: Crypto Surges - Approaching All Time Highs
Dash is doing very well. People forget but Dash has masternodes. So unlike other coins, Dash actually has incentives to hold 1000 units of the currency. Other cryptos like xmr, bch, and the like have no incentive to hold except hopium for future gains. So people will shill for these dumber coins even though they only own 1, 5, or at most 20 units of the actual coin. Dash is better. Because it incentivizes holding 1000 units, when the price moves, those holders get larger gains than people with fewer coins. Also, running a computer and proving you have 1000 Dash gets you 8% per year. One masternode is about $200,000 now, so that's about $16,000 a year.

Thank you for this. It only makes sense and they already have procured a lot of companies... I’ve got some research to do. hf

so when your grocery store, or your mechanic, or your electric company, or you gas station, or your plumber, wont take your dumbass bitcoin for payment, what will you need to do to pay for things?

convert to dollars.
which is fiat.
unless people start transacting in bitcoin (which they never will because it is too slow) you use fiat. dumbass

you should really understand what it is you're talking about before you make yourself look fucking retarded..

I don't need to hold fiat to pay my mechanic, etc.. when I need fiat i can convert freely... what's so bad about that? I hodl my savings in Bitcoin, and i convert to fiat when I need some. I'm 39 and retired, I bet you're still slaving away like a good little cuck.

Stop being so fucking dense and just maybe you can make it out of the rat race too! Or don't idgaf. HFSP.

Dude, you are living in the past.

I don't hold fiat dollars - only crypto. I do have a credit card tied to my crypto.

I use the credit card to pay in fiat dollars without holding any fiat dollars. They just sell enough of my crypto to pay for the transaction. It has never been rejected.

Meanwhile, the value of my crypto keeps going up...

I have 2000 ounces of gold and 1680 ounces of silver in case things get really out of control, but everything else goes into my crypto holdings.

I don't really worry about the value of crypto at this point because I invest mostly in Stellar assets, and they are just at the infancy stage. I fully expect a boom before the end of the year.

For those that think crypto is not manipulated, explain why ALL THE MAJOR COINS go down at once - with an identical pattern and timing. It is certainly manipulated, but not to the same degree as PM's - yet...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30194388

I would be out having fun instead of arguing on GLP if I had that.

I assume you have a lot more in bitcoin and your silver.

Serious questions - you seem knowledgeable - can you advise on where to get a credit card like this? Also, can you please advise which Stellar assets? Just Stellar or those others in the chart too, such as algo, iota ripple xrp, xlm? That part about BTC not being part of it is quite scary - could u expand on that? As u can tell I am in learning phase, so pls no rude comments. TYSM

I would love to help people learn - 6 months ago I didn't know anything at all. I had help from a lot of smart people and I had time to invest 3 hours a day researching to learn.

My credit card is from here: [link to medium.com (secure)]

I own every coin on that chart - that is exactly how I started. I used Uphold to buy XRP. I used Binance (bad choice) to buy Iota, XLM, and also. I use Lobstr to buy the Stellar assets. I have over a thousand different coins/tokens. The largest in terms of current value are:

Doge Token doge-token.com
Ethereum X etxco.com
Brave Token brave-token.age-shield.com
Kodak stellar-go.com
Lumenswap Asset lumenswap.io
Stronghold SHX stronghold.co
FinX finx.org
Scopuly scopuly.com

I buy on Lobstr. There are a ton of fake coins on Lobstr that will take your money and give you worthless coins. I learned the hard way. Use the web site info to avoid the scam tokens.

The secret to purchasing the correct coin is to match the website with the coin you really want. For that reason, I'll add the website to the coins mentioned above.

I could direct you to several websites that offer quite a few coins that are tied to real-world companies, but most have little value because this is so early in the game.

I'd be happy to help you learn, but I don't know everything. I don't spend a lot of time on GLP, but I'll try to check back frequently to see if you have other questions.

Good Luck!

I've learned not to trust Bitcoin because it is controlled by China. There are other reasons, but I prefer to stay away from China coins. Bitcoin also will not qualify under the new regulations that are being put in place later this month. Bitcoin is slow, expensive, dirty, and uncapped. There are much better choices to perform the same function. Bitcoin was also invented to help drug lords transfer large amounts of money outside the fiat system.

No - actually I probably only have $10K invested in Crypto - but they are all long term plays. For instance, I have 12 Million IBM coins - but it only cost me $0.0000101 at the time to purchase. I believe the corrupt stock market will be moved to blockchain to make trades transparent. The stock value will be moved to these coins. If I'm correct, this coin will be worth one share of IBM in the future. Am I right? I have no idea - yet.

And Yes, I do have fun. Last weekend I traveled from Michigan to Minn to watch the Lion's game from a suite. Next month I'm on back to back Caribbean cruises. But I like to learn new things and Crypto has had my attention for the last 6 months. I just enjoy the mystery I guess...

I believe XRP will be used in the new financial system as the way banks transfer value back and forth - replacing the current SWIFT system. Each coin should have a large value to make it work in this capacity. There has also been some talk of banking buying back all the XRP to use in-house.

I believe XLM is going to be used to transfer all the other coins back and forth. To sell IBM and buy Toshiba, you first sell IBM for XLM, then sell the XLM for Toshiba. That keeps the relative value clean and each party knows exactly what they are getting. If IBM is unfamiliar with Toshiba, they may be uncomfortable making the trade. With XLM as the middle man, there is no such concern. XLM will be for the common transactions.

That's what I believe sitting here today. I hold XRP because I believe it will be very valuable. I buy XLM just to use to buy other Stellar assets. I don't hold XLM as an investment. Hope that helps.

thank you so much for your time. You are very helpful. I have (to this point) been leary of any crypto exchanges other than the larger known ones. (no I don't use cbs reg. anymore - that was a mistake. I am also unable to use binance.) So never heard of Lbstr. Is that like pancakeswap? I am so leary of irreputable companies. PUBLIC SUCKS. I got all my money out of there, but ended up having to jump through hoops for WEEKS. Their customer service sucks. I am impressed with the news that Robinhood will now have customer service. Coinbase - too many ppl getting ripped off and money stolen. All over MSM news.

So how long have u used Lbstr, odd I've never heard of them - are you in USA? I wonder if this is US company.

Someone mentioned IBM - they have been around forever so that might be a good one. I had no idea u could get coins from companies. I'd def be interested in learning more about that.

The new crypto regulations REQUIRE that each coin's value is backed by a precious metal. Then you have the possibility that the fiat financial system fails. If that happens, and I believe it will, then the dollars are worthless - but the PM's will hold their value (likely rise in value).

If China's Evergrande falls hard, it will take the entire system out with it. If one of China's damns break (and it is maxed out as I type this), the system will implode. Biden is increasing our national debt so fast I don't believe we will ever pay it off - ending the system.

Not sure what will start it, but I think it is coming soon...

That's why I don't hold fiat dollars.

Serious questions - you seem knowledgeable - can you advise on where to get a credit card like this? Also, can you please advise which Stellar assets? Just Stellar or those others in the chart too, such as algo, iota ripple xrp, xlm? That part about BTC not being part of it is quite scary - could u expand on that? As u can tell I am in learning phase, so pls no rude comments. TYSM

Good Luck!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30194388

thank you so much for your time.

Is that worth 3.5m?

I would be out having fun instead of arguing on GLP if I had that.

I assume you have a lot more in bitcoin and your silver.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78675880

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30194388

Where can u get the IBM coins? (and other good companies?)

Anyone heard about the BITO ETF announcement? What do you think of that? (like Beto, but with an I.) haha
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79772214

I'm in the US and use Lobstr. It is not a US company, because I pay an extra international fee when I deposit money into the system. I use Lobstr because all the people I followed to learn also used Lobstr. I've been on it for over 6 months and have only had one issue.

They only allow 1000 different coins per account. So when I hit 1000 and wanted to add a different coin, I had to choose one to sell and delete before I could add the new coin. Other than that, it has been flawless.

I have never heard of ITO ETF - can't offer an opinion on that one.

Lobstr hint. When looking for a coin, don't enter the coin name. Instead, enter the coin web site. Only legit coins will appear and you won't waste money on scams. That was an expensive lesson for me to learn...

first everything is controlled by china nowadays in some way . noone gives a fuck about regulations because you can’t regulate crypto and all the big players are already investing like banks etc.

bitcoin was not invented to help drug lords. drug lords don’t need bitcoin to sell drugs or transfer money but they use it also. why not.

now go back to your chair and keep watching cnn for your brainwashing

I been into btc for a good while. Don't have a million worth but a good little nest egg. I put 500 usd into pancake swap and bnb last night Staking at 50 percent interest. I started a new job making a guaranteed salary . Also i built my house and own my truck . 4 acres in the country. I knew about staking but didn't do it.but i just dollar cost averaged over the years and it grew. Now it enough to where i can make it work for me. if i put 50k staking into cake thats 25k a year. thats over 2k a month if the price of cake stays at it is now at 19.7 usd. not bad. Thats like making 12 bucks an hour 40 hours a week. I make 100k a year doing construction. I made a plan this year. Before i only got paid when i worked. I'll be doing the same job. just i signed on to be a company guy so i'll get 40 hours a week at 35 and hour whether i work or not. When i do work i work 7 12s so like 3k a week. With all the checks i make when i'm not working i'll put it into crypto. 50 25 25. 50% btc and eth and 25% mids and 25% lower caps. I'll try to stake alot of it too. beats my bank iterest rates. I don't know if its too aggressive or not enough. But i'm 36 I still make plenty to live on. I live pretty cheap too. I'll buy solar panels and battery for my house soon. I want to try and sell the top of this cycle. then wait till the dust settles and stake a good chunk . Then i'll be living on that like a pension. I'm just going to stick to the plan. I could be retired already . but i messed around a bit just to understand how to trade. But it was too stressful. i work way to hard earning the money to lose on trades. So i just dollar cost averaged over the last 4 years and it worked out. then there was the last bear market i kinda lost interest with it. but then i started dca again when it hit a bottom at 4k ish. 500 here 500 there. My fault for not managing it more closely . buying solar and playing these next few months well then i will not be able to be starved out. also been prepping last 8 years. It feels good to watch your portfolio go to 145k over the last year and have no mortage or car payment and a whole ten by ten room with freeze dried food and rice and beans. I'm getting tired of doing back breaking work. Good luck to everyone. Heck i might become a full time trader if they require me to get vax.

I’ve got some research to do. hf

Another leg up DASH has on the competition is that it has instant transactions with instant respends. So there's no waiting for a confirmation, your transactions confirm instantly and are available to spend instantly. Other blockchains have to wait at least 10 minutes to 1 hour before your funds are considered confirmed.

And now we are back down.. but don't worry folks, more ATH's are coming.. IMO

I'm here.. still buying, selling, buying and HOLDING! :)

I'm currently holding BTC, ETH, Cardano, and Pitbull Token.

Pitbull Token, $PIT, can be the next Doge or Shib, IMO. It's community owned and we still have 8 zero's to burn.

ETH is going to overtake BTC in growth, IMO. and BTC will level off, but then rocket toward the end of the year, flying to new ATH's into early 2023.

Oh and MATIC has a lot of promise too.

But don't over look Pitbull BSC. [link to Pitbull.Community]
