I never liked it when they began teaching us math with letters from the alphabet and then symbols, Greek letters, and more letters for constants...Now color math?? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79048240 Next to each sign there is a car. From west to east the colors of the cars go from blue to red. What color is the car labeled 5? My Common Core calculations indicate the answer is: Thomas Jefferson. |

What color is the car labeled 5? you haven't specified: -How many signs are there? -If each sign is labeled with different numbers or some with the same number. -You haven't specified if the labels on the cars apply to any reference point. The labels themselves could be completely random. this test is for idiots that draw conclusions from assumptions. |

The last line/question is essentially unanswerable, as it implies you need to answer with a color, which is impossible. The color could be chartreuse, no matter if the car had a number on it or not, which is also an assumption (and one that contradicts the text that explicitly states the cars are numbered not the signs). not to mention ... no logic question should have people looking up the color spectrum because "From west to east the colors of the cars go from red to blue" .. 5 cars, two colors. WTF is "From red to blue" ... it's not stated. Too many assumptions. This question would never make it on to any test to be used for any measurable result based on whether the answer is incorrect or correct. It's not an IQ test question. That doesn't mean the asker isn't looking for answers, though. Last Edited by SugarSand on 10/17/2021 01:58 AM When the shit hits the fan and the end is just nigh, will you cry out to Heaven? Colors would be good for fuzzy logic operations, then :) Good thinking. When the shit hits the fan and the end is just nigh, will you cry out to Heaven? Will you lie down and die?
