I’m in Northern Illinois and 70 years old. Luckily I have two heated garages for our 3 cars. Live in a rural area and the grid has been reliable up till now, but big storms always make me nervous.
Last February was murder on me between clearing snow from the driveways, the walks and using a snow rake to clear the drifts off the roof eaves. I’m getting to the point that I don’t relish it anymore. It’s been much warmer than normal for fall up to now, but I know the other shoe is gonna drop eventually.

The big one will be the ice storm in january that knocks out power nationwide.
Its in the plans,utter destruction and mass mivration into the cities.
The rich will burn through money renting motel rooms.
Houses will be ruined.
We will never recover because all supplies will be gone.
