We should be grateful and at least be content. Jesus told us so. He actually even said Good cheer!

Jesus in John 16:33

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”


“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]”

“ I have spoken these things to you so that you shall have peace in me. You shall have suffering in the world, but take heart, I have overcome the world.”

I know this difficult. to be of good cheer.

Considering how dark the world is and how 99 percent of the world is controlled by the evil one. You can see it everywhere with the eyes of discernment.

How we are attacked spiritually. This is tiresome sometimes. But we must lay it down at Jesus feet and he will strengthen us and give us peace and rest. He is our defender and strong foundation.

How the world brings us down and lowers our hope . But Jesus is perfect hope.

So perfect hope. Jesus

Says. Yes. You will have struggles and pain. BUT BE OF GOOD CHEER.

For I have overcome the world he says.

So since Jesus is in you

And Jesus overcome the world

And Jesus is hope

What is there to be upset about.

We got Jesus within us.

We have hope within us.

We are being refined so we trust God 100 percent .God then opens our eyes to see his grace all over our lives .then he guides us to overcome . But it’s truly just Jesus extending his grace to waken us from slumber .

Also I want to say I am so sad a lot and don’t smile or have good cheer but I’m really trying to focus on this Jesus overcame the world and what that means for me.
