The Canaries are also known as the "Dogtooth" islands because a very short distance offshore the ocean gets very deep and the islands are very sheer all the way to the bottom. Verily I say. This AC post is quite concerning and wondered if it was a Larp, and this place is famous for that. But there is credibility to this. And the 35-40km quakes puts them at the base of the island. You have great credibility with me, and this long anony post has credibility with Brass. So for the sake of discussion let's suppose it is true inside information from experts. If that is the case, what exactly would this mean? 7a> There will be a fast bunch of 7 to 8 level earthquakes (a dozen or more) likely 20 to 40 km deep What does "fast" mean? Hours? Days? Several in less than an hour? Several in one day? What would you watch for? In geological time fast can be extremely slow, but I assume this is talking in our human experience time. Thanks. |
