The creator of CP/M was a guy called Gary Kildall. CP/M was the basis of DOS and Windows.

Microsoft was having a hard time coming up with a new OS. CP/M was getting new contracts with IBM and a bunch of other manufacturers were approaching to sign contracts. Rumors (which many in the industry claim came directly from Paul Allen) were that Microsoft approached Gary to form a license partnership for CP/M to be the MS flagship product. But supposedly there were major conflicts between Bill and Gary about business practices ... Gary wanted a more open and transparent way of doing business and Bill wanted none of that.

So they apparently broke off the deal. Then the rumors are that MS hired some pros to break in and steal copies of the CP/M source code and then used it as a base for DOS and early Windows and went behind Gary's back and overtook the contracts with manufacturers like IBM.

In the early 90's Gary was working on a new version of CP/M that was a new breakthrough that would unleash 32-bit and 64-bit computing. Word was going around the industry that Gary's new creation would be a game changer for computing so apparently Bill immediately went to Gary to find out more about his new OS and offer him a deal.

A week later, Gary was supposedly killed by a biker outside of a bar, while his house magically burned to the ground, and almost exactly a year later Microsoft released Windows 95 the first ever 32-bit consumer focused OS.


People in the industry said that Paul Allen had a guilty conscience and told people when he knew he was close to death that he regretted keeping it a secret that apparently Bill hired some pros to kill Gary so he could steal what would become Windows 95 and to remove the competition that Gary was bringing to MS.

Some say the government knew Bill was involved in Gary's murder but they couldnt find hard evidence of it so they tried to squeeze him by launching the anti-trust/monopoly legal proceedings against him.




As for the claims that Bill vowed revenge on the American government for their anti-trust legal action, that was a statement made by George magazine when they approached Bill to do a follow up interview about the ongoing case. And at the time people thought he meant that they were going to counter sue.


But none of these rumors are new. All of that shit was floating around the internet for a long time. Go look it up. I think there were a few documentaries on Gary made in the late 90's that pointed their finger at Gates. They still might be floating around on the net.
