Hide died at age 33 on the morning of May 2, 1998. After a
night out drinking, he was found hanged by a towel tied to
a doorhandle in his apartment in the Minami-Azabu district
of Tokyo.[1] He had returned to Japan just five days
earlier, after a three-month stay in Los Angeles.[27] On
May 1, he and the members of Spread Beaver recorded for
television shows and went out drinking, with his brother
driving him home at roughly 6:30 am the following morning.

to a hospital in Hiroo, where he was pronounced dead at
8:52 am.

They called it a suicide which seems appropriate.

Alcoholism is rampant in the entertainment industry.

Depression can also hit because we loose everything

that ties us to normalcy like relationships with

females and friendships and family relations.

Not everyone who becomes a pro musician is able to handle

all the down sides of the business. Touring sucks.
