African centric reminds me of what my friend recently said to me. She's mixed Guam and white. So I asked what is her white heritage. She screamed back,"White, Idk they are all the same." I was shocked at her answer and her hatred twords half her genetic and historical makeup. I explained to her white people are a very diverse group from a large part of the globe. I had to explain that part of my white heritage is north African. She had a hard time grasping that Caucasians also came from Africa.
