Remember when 24 episodes was a season? Why is it so difficult to have more episodes in a year? Not like the actors are going to absorb all the profits. Hell most of you pay all year to watch 8 episodes of ONE show. Feeling fleeced? They are selling what used to be one Season as 4 seasons now. Ridiculous! Usually I would rather 8 concise episodes with a clear beginning, middle, and end. Than those same 8 episodes dragged out to 24 with nothing but fillers in-between. On the other hand some shows (like Supernatural) I enjoyed the filler episodes far more than the main story line.
