Because white people weren't slaves in modern Europe and America and have never been looked down upon and have been presented as master races, elite, rich, beautiful etc. Especially in the media. To be black in America and Britain has been seen as "lowly" and "inferior" for 600 years. White people never had to deal with that. Even dirt-poor white people in slums. Black people just want to be treated as humans and not sub-humans. But they still have to deal with being treated as lesser people just because of their dark skin and customs. No one treats the Irish like that anymore - they did, Irish were once called "white N-wörds" but now the Irish are seen as salt of the Earth and no one blames them for anything. Blackface is a massively insulting caricature of black people. It mocks them as dumb and ugly. If there was a really, really powerful way for black people to viscerally mock white people, I doubt that many black people would do it as they know that's some low-ass cowardly shit. Imagine there was "Irish-face" and black people dressed up as best they could as Irish stereotypes and acted drunk and violent on stage and acted dumb and pathetic. That would cause massive outrage, right?

I noticed they clipped out the part of the lesson that covered exactly what she was attempting to have them remember.

One thing that memory courses teach is that the more bizarre and humorous an image that you can come up with, the more likely that you'll remember it.

In the background, on the screen, I noticed triangles, so this is probably attempting to get them to remember some Trig formula or another.

You also notice that every student is paying attention, and even the one on their phone is watching her.

I see a young teacher that's going the extra mile to attempt to teach something, but was too young and/or sheltered to realize the implications of using something that could be considered a racial slur.

Bet those kids will remember the formula or whatever she was trying to teach, though.
