It has also been shown (not studied enough because no-one will fund it) to reduce plaque build-up in the brain, which is suspected to be one of the main causes of Alzheimer's. The professions that have the highest rate of smokers do lots of cerebral tasks (programmers, warehouse logistics, stock analysts, etc). In the early 2000's (don't know about more recently) the profession with the highest rate of smokers was Air Traffic Controllers. I suspect small doses of nicotine from a young age (like a cup of coffee) would make us all smarter. I use tobacco at work every day ... It’s not like the government loves you Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80359482 Something to do with blood or do cigarettes protect you in some way Here is my argument, see if it makes sense to you. They drill into our kids heads that smoking is extremely dangerous, and we know statistically that smokers die an average of 2 years sooner than non smokers. On average. Many smokers live to be over 100. HOWEVER, though they teach them it is alright to be "gay", they DO NOT teach the children the specific dangerous of that activity, or that 1 in 5 homosexuals carry a deadly virus they can catch, or that the incidence of STD's and hepatitis is extremely high in this group. If they cared about them they would certainly warn them. We warned our kids about f*gs even before there was AIDs. ALSO, when they decided to try to vax the kids, the kids who are unaffected by the virus, it became obvious to me that their intent was to harm them. So what does smoking do that they hate? Ever see a smoker that likes or trusts the government? "Follows the rules"? Me either. By their basic nature they do not. Most Pwoud Boys are smokers. True story. |

Not anymore! Netflix and Prime vids are full of smoking. Also "a small amount is good" theory is wrong. Consider, tobacco is the most addictive substances of all. It has to do with nicotine and lung conditioning in warding off certain life threatening diseases. As far as it's relationship to "Covid" and the gene therapy clotshot, not sure...but the media and medicine are demonizing smoking like never before... What gives? We know they cannot be trusted. |

It is good for other things in the body like worms, this would have to be done in combination with other things, too much can kill you. It has other properties that need studying not just for medicine which could save the tobacco industry. You don't throw the baby out with bathwater. They just don't seem to understand the properties of natural products. Sorry I got a headache These are the times that tries men's and women's souls! May we come though it victorious! |

Cigarette Smoking IS THE CONSPIRACY!!! INDIVIDUALS ARE ENTICED TO SMOKE THROUGH ADVERTISING. They become addicted and as a result generate tax revenue for governments and profits for the companies. Smoking is sold to governments by companies as reducing their social responsibilities since smokers die younger! |

Nicotine probably stops that There are many uses. My grandfather would turn his pipe backwards and blow smoke into my ear to relieve an earache The four sacred herbs, tobacco being the first god created and gave to us, are widely used in ceremonies to purify the air(smudging) of unwanted spirits(germs?virus?). There is knowledge in the first peoples ways IMHO. Doctors used to prescribe tobacco to mental health patients because it calmed them down. It is also good for digestion. |

It felt good not to have to endure colds, flues, strep throat, sinus infections, and sinus headaches for once in my life. I don't enjoy smoking very much, but I find I do enjoy the company of other smokers in outdoor places, and the breaks in my activity, which can tend to be so absorbing that I would otherwise forget to take a break. I find when I am smoking, I remember things I was forgetting to do, and I have the most creative ideas about what I am doing, or will do next. On the whole - I love it. 230 here, but 0 there. |
