Nicotine is harmless.

Nicotine increases brain activity and aids in clarity of thought. I causes more synapses to fire quicker.

It has also been shown (not studied enough because no-one will fund it) to reduce plaque build-up in the brain, which is suspected to be one of the main causes of Alzheimer's.

The professions that have the highest rate of smokers do lots of cerebral tasks (programmers, warehouse logistics, stock analysts, etc). In the early 2000's (don't know about more recently) the profession with the highest rate of smokers was Air Traffic Controllers.

I suspect small doses of nicotine from a young age (like a cup of coffee) would make us all smarter.

Smokers are thinkers!

Anyone who thinks too much is a danger to "established thought".

Think about this. Smoking was the last bastion of freedom and in case you can't quite put your finger on it, you sense its demise.

Many moments of quiet contemplation and many robust conversations surrounded cigarette smoking at tables all over the country back in the day.

This freedom was unacceptable.

Government in the form of Nanny Karen State, satiated with power stepped in and stomped on all those cigarette butts and so now we've ended in a place where Americans are being forced to inject an experimental jab with stuff far, far, worse than nicotine and smoke.

Karen didn't entirely win though. There are those who still experience moments of contemplation and robust discussions still exist in pockets all over the country.

Why else would the government want you off them. It’s not like the government loves you

Something to do with blood or do cigarettes protect you in some way hmm

I noticed when my spouse was down to 1 or none a day their allergies took off like a rocket.
Now back to smoking 3 a day and allergies are not rampant anymore.

Not cigarettes, but nicotine, protects against covid. It binds to the same ACE receptor... and helps block covid from attaching. Multiple studies , which are available in Lancet, prove this theory out.

While smokers can get Covid they are statistically less likely to. As I said there are multiple studies available to support this.

Nicotine can stop some antipsychotic medications from working.
The virus can only attach itself to healthy lungs.
And...well, they're harvesting people, so want healthy bodies.
