my uncle says they should make a law that all movie cowboy revolvers have to have a steel plate welded over the front of the spinny thing so yuo can't see the front of the bullets. the plate should be painted greenscreen green then they can add the front of the bullets in post production using them electric computers all the kiddies like so much!! if only they had of passed this law ten minutes or so before this movie got maid all of this never would of happened.

Media need to stop calling it a "prop" gun when it was a real gun firing real ammo....

Ohhh, makes sense now. One of the union guys put a live round in the chamber before being kicked off the production.

There's no reason for there to be any live rounds on the set. No need for any rules or laws other than that.

Quite possibly, or Baldwin did plan this and knowingly used a real gun with real bullets to shoot the activist cinemetographer for advocating for the staff that was let go.

There is clearly a motive here, we don't know how pissed Alec was at her. I'm sure the police will investigate this as possible motive. He's clearly a murder suspect right now under investigation so that's good.

This accident makes no sense.

With all the health and safety / duty of care legislation, how is it that even a blank loaded prop gun is pointed at another person.

Why would prop guns even use a standard calibre / barrel capable of firing live ammo. Hollyweird spend fortunes on intricate fakes. Adapting and disabling real guns into props, including inert and blank firing caps would cost peanuts.

Most shoot-out scenes, show the guns with no recoil, and why would someone sit behind a camera in a highly unusual and unlikely filming of a gun directed at a camera.

How can anyone be so idiotic.

It will be good if questions are asked about Hollyweird's ambivalence and hypocrisy regarding guns.

Lately almost all the shows use cgi in the shooting as well as the hits. I guess this was a way low budget.
