College Athlete dies from choking on hotdog
A 20-year-old Tufts lacrosse player died Sunday after falling unconscious at a charity fundraiser.

According to authorities, Madelyn "Madie" Nicpon was participating with other students in a hot dog eating contest and choked.

Tufts said first responders performed "extensive life-saving procedures" and Nicpon was initially taken to Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge before being transferred to Massachusetts General in Boston, where she died Sunday afternoon.

Hot dogs are one the number one foods young children choke on. You should always slice them up, then cut the slices in half so there aren't any round circles. Apparently this 20 year was a baby like most people his age.

I suddenly choked on an Oreo yesterday as I tried washing it down with my drink. The Oreo had become an expanding sticky blob in my throat, I immediately thought of story and wondered what was really in my Oreo.
